The boat you ask? It's kind of an abandoned/sometime used infrequently sleezy trailer on a flat boat in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico (T or C for short). The town was named after the popular radio/TV show hosted in the 1950's by Ralph Edwards. They ran a nationwide contest to see if any town in the USA would rename to "Truth or Consequences". Hot Springs, NM stepped forward and as a result they have a fair/parade in late April every year with Ralph Edwards as the parade Marshall, Not sure if he is still alive? who knows, who cares? Bob Barker went on to host the show in the 1960's and then it just faded out. Then he hosted "The Price Is Right" as we all know.
T or C is about 2 hours from Albuquerque.
Notorious serial killer David Parker Ray was from T or C and dumped most of his dead bodies from his kills in Elephant Butte lake very close to Dream Boat. Well there you have it..... Where is Dream Boat now? Who cares? David Parker Ray? Well he died in prison in Hobbs, NM a few years ago.
